CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A driver slammed into a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police car while an officer was investigating a crash.The officer was sitting in the car on North Tryon Street near Rocky River Road when it happened. The officer was taken to Presbyterian Hospital with minor injuries.Officials said the driver that crashed into the officer will be charged with reckless driving.
