East Charlotte Restaurant Robbed At Gunpoint

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are looking for two people who robbed an East Charlotte restaurant Friday night.

Police said around 11 p.m. two men robbed the Cuzcatlan Salvadorean and Mexican Restaurant on Central Avenue near Sharon Amity road at gunpoint.

According to police, the robbers fled the scene with more than $2,000.

No one was injured in the incident.
