Search Party Finds Body Of Missing Motorcyclist

UNION COUNTY, N.C. -- Family and friends formed an overnight search party to find a missing motorcyclist in rural Union County.
They say 57-year-old Fred Jackson failed to meet his wife and daughter for lunch Sunday so they filed a missing persons report.
The search party found Jackson early Monday morning in some underbrush off Tom Greene Road.
Authorities say he had apparently veered off and crashed into a stone embankment.
Authorities say alcohol was not a factor.
