Armed Robber Steals Car From Charlotte Car Wash

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are looking for a car thief after a man at a car wash told police he was thrown to the ground and threatened with a gun.The 23-year-old victim wasn't hurt, but his car was stolen in broad daylight Sunday afternoon on Monroe Road.Police think the man's unique car, a restored 1968 Chevrolet Impala, made him a target.Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600.
