Man Dies In Iredell Co. House Fire

STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Authorities in Iredell County are investigating after a Wednesday morning house fire that killed a Statesville man.
Investigators say a 35-year-old man died from smoke inhalation.They say the fire started in the kitchen around 2 a.m.Police say the man was apparently cooking when the blaze started.The investigation is continuing, but authorities believe the fire was accidental.
