Police: Salesperson Assaulted While Showing Home

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are investigating after a real estate sales representative said she was sexually assaulted Monday morning in north Charlotte.
Police said the woman was showing a home to a man around 11:15 a.m. on Briar Rose Court, which is a new part of the Highland Park neighborhood, when she was attacked.Police say the man grabbed an item that was inside the house and threatened the woman.The woman was taken to a hospital.Police are looking for a black man between 20 and 30 years old.The man stands close to 6 feet tall, has a medium build and was wearing a white shirt with a tie and dark pants.Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600.
