Police Search For Suspect In Shooting At ATM

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are looking for a man who beat then shot a woman as she was trying to make a deposit for Sharon Baptist Church on Sunday. The woman pulled up to an ATM at the CCB on Independence Boulevard and Conference Drive in East Charlotte about 12:30 in the afternoon. Witnesses say a man jumped from the bushes, beat her up then shot her in the back. Hassan Radmanesh and his 10-year-old daughter DALHIA saw the attack happen. They tried to help the woman, but tell Eyewitness News the robber pointed the gun at them. Radmanesh said the shooter then started waving the gun towards cars and people before stealing a jade gree, Honda Accord. Police do not have a good description of the man, but the car is a four-door with North Carolina license plate NTB-4818. If you've seen the car call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600. You could get a reward, and you don't have to leave your name.
