Child Hit By Car In Rowan County

Charlotte, NC -- A seven year old was hospitalized Thursday night after he was hit by a car in Rowan County.
The boy was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Firefighters with the Locke Volunteer Fire Department say the boy was hit in front of an apartment complex on Neel Road.
They say other children were in the road when the accident happened.
No word if the driver will face charges.
