Bishop In Charlotte Asks Catholics To Pray For Schiavo

Charlotte, NC -- Wednesday night, the man who leaders 300,000 Catholics in the Charlotte are had harsh words for the judges who refused to side with Terri Schiavo's parents.
The Schindlers are trying to have her feeding tube re-inserted to save her life.
In a statement, Bishop Peter Jugis said Schiavo is no different from the Pope, who is now also receiving nutrition from a feeding tube.
Bishop Jugis also said, "A grave injustice is taking place in Florida in the case of Terri Schiavo. Mrs. Schiavo is a defenseless child of God from which life-giving nutrition is being withheld as the result of a court order. This is immoral."
Jugis is asking Catholics in Charlotte to pray for Schiavo.
