Charlotte, NC -- A modeling agency in Charlotte has agreed to shut down and refund money to customers.
A judge in Raleigh signed a consent agreement late Friday with Face National Models.
The state attorney general's office says the modeling agency signed up eight thousand people across the country and found only 800 jobs for them.
Brenda Schnable is a mother of one of the agency's customers.
"Before you get all excited and caught up in the hype of 'i'm gonna be a model, take a step back , look at it, do some research into the company before you sign on the dotted line and hand over your check to them," Schnable said Monday night.
Face National Models has agreed to refund 135-thousand dollars to customers.
