Lower Paxton Township, PA -- Police say a man wanted in Charlotte tried to chew off his own fingerprints to keep officers from learning his identity.
Detectives in Pennsylvannia say Robert Anwar Nicks tried to bite off his skin so they couldn't fingerprint him.
Nicks is wanted in Charlotte on weapons and drug charges.
Officers said when they found Nicks, he ran across an interstate highway, ditched two handguns, tried to carjack two drivers and then beat up one man before officers took him down.
