CONCORD, N.C. -- Lowe's Motor Speedway officials don't think what happened at the track on Saturday night will have any bearing on Charlotte's bid for the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Officials at Lowe's say the numerous caution flags last night won't make or break the decision.

The Hall of Fame committee is expected to make a decision about the museum's location by the end of the year.

Lowe's officials say it's more about the financing package and chances for success.

Kansas City, Richmond, Atlanta and Daytona Beach are also in the running to host the hall.
