The company Sanofi, which made its own epinephrine auto-injector, Auvi-Q, is suing Mylan.
Sanofi claims Mylan offered insurance companies and middlemen deals if they paid for EpiPens, but not Auvi-Q.

EpiPens can be life-saving for severe allergic reactions. The price tag for them climbed about 400 percent over roughly a decade.
