ABC's Wednesday night full of season finales

Starting Wednesday at 8 p.m. ABC will have three season finales for some of its most popular shows.

Kicking off the night is "The Middle" at 8 p.m. As son Axel prepares to graduate from high school, tensions run high in the house as he refuses to tell mom Frankie details about the ceremony. Brick, the youngest in the family, is reminded by his vice principal that he must present a slideshow highlighting his last four years of school.

The next show for the night is "Modern Family".

The hour long finale starts at 8:30 p.m. with a two episodes back to back.

On the first episode, Claire, Manny, and Luke travel to support Alex in her academic decathlon for the weekend, while Phil has a guy's night at home. While on the trip, Manny and Luke search for a girl at bar mitzvahs. At home, Cam and Mitchell surprise Jay and Gloria with a new baby gift.

The second one starts with a more somber start. With the death of Phil's mother, the family travels to Florida for the funeral. Gloria faces an outstanding arrest warrant, and Jay runs into someone from the past, guest star Fred Willard returns as Frank Dunphy.

"How to Live With Your Parents For The Rest Of Your Life" will air from 9:30 - 10 p.m.

Topping off the night of finales is the hit drama series "Nashville" at 10 pm. Juliette finds a letter from her mother and Deacon confronts Rayna about a major secret. Brad Paisley guest stars and performs with Rayna and Deacon, and Gunnar attempts to steal Scarlett's heart back.
