CHARLOTTE, N.C. - There is still no major storm on the horizon near Charlotte, but the area is dealing with two batches of precipitation. It will be rain for everyone.
As the warmer air returns, clouds increase and light rain will break out after midnight Wednesday. Most of the rain will be gone by 7 a.m.
After a few days of spring-like warmth, a cold front swings through Friday with the best chance for rain all week. There may be thunder from mid-morning to early afternoon as the front passes, but the severe weather risk is low.
There will be no frozen stuff with the rain Wednesday morning.
Temperatures will be 65-70 through Friday and once the cold front passes, temperatures will be in the 60s Saturday and upper 50s Sunday.
