Amber Alert issued for 10-month-old baby

DURHAM — The Durham Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for 10-month-old Tamiyah Elssy Bryant.

Tamiyah is approximately 18 inches long and weighs 24 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen in a pink shirt, diaper, and no pants.

Police say the child is allegedly with Rodney Francis Bryant, 26. Bryant is described as a 6-foot tall black man who weighs 220 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, green camouflage pants and a bright orange shirt.

Bryant has tattoos of praying hands on the right side of his neck and the word mob on the left side of his neck. He also has "macktown" tattooed on his knuckles and miscellaneous tattoos on his forearms.

He is driving a white 2002 Suzuki Vitara with a Washington license plate. The door handle is missing on the driver's side. The car was last seen on I-40 west travelling westbound, possibly towards Atlanta, Georgia.
