Charlotte sees fog Wednesday morning, possible showers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Thick fog covered Charlotte Wednesday morning.

The fog is expected to eventually lift later in the morning.

A shower or two could pop up, but rain chances will dry up later in the afternoon.

Temperatures are warming up to the mid-60s Wednesday.

Friday could see temperatures in the 70s.

Areas to the west of Charlotte could see showers over the next few days.

A cold front will hang around the area over the weekend bringing showers.

Rain is possible for Sunday in addition to cooler temperatures in the 40s.
