Chick-fil-A employee buys police officer lunch

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. — A young man saw a police officer waiting in line at a Chick-fil-A in Summerville, South Carolina and bought his food. Police officer Drew Ivey took to Facebook to thank the young man, who he later found out was an off-duty Chick-fil-A employee.

“This young man stuck his hand out and said my name is Jonathan and I am buying your lunch,” Ivey wrote.

He said he chose to share the encounter to show that not all Facebook posts regarding police officers have to be negative.
