• Cool down, sunshine coming this week

CHARLOTTE - There will be comfortable weather in the Charlotte area as Tropical Storm Cristobal builds strength near the Bahamas.

The same weather giving us nice conditions is holding back Cristobal in the Atlantic Ocean. Eventually a front will push that storm out to sea.

Sunday night’s weather will be comfortable with temperatures in the lower 60s under clear skies.

Monday will have plenty of sunshine and temperatures will be in the low 80s. Pleasant weather will last through Thursday.

A cold front Thursday should push Cristobal away from the Outer Banks and may give the Charlotte area a few afternoon storms.
