NORTH CAROLINA — There are new details Thursday about the worst flu season in the past decade.
Duke University Health System has now restricted patient visitations.
It is the latest North Carolina hospital system to stop the spread of the flu through restrictions.
Last week, the Carolinas Healthcare System and Gaston Memorial went to this approach.
Duke is now only allowing healthy immediate family and caregivers 18 or older to visit patients.
