Dozens of teams expected to compete at TWC BBQ and Blues festival
CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
The 10th annual Time Warner Cable BBQ and Blues festival kicks off its two-day run on Oct. 12.
More than 90 teams are expected to compete for their piece of the $25,000 prize money and the Governor’s Cup Trophy, making it the largest BBQ festival sanctioned by Memphis Barbecue Network in the Southeast.
The festival also features live music, games and activities and plenty of food vendors.
It runs from 5 p.m.-11 p.m. on Oct. 12 and from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. on Oct. 13 at the NC Music Factory. Admission is free.
