Wilson visited the hospital as part of Downy’s Touch of Comfort program, delivering handmade quilts to children having to spend time in the hospital.
The quilts were no ordinary wraps, either. The quilters found out the colors the individual children liked and what themes interested them and wove those into the designs.
Interviewed during her visit, Wilson said, “We just want to put a smile on the face of some of the kids while they have their stay here.”
The quilts were created by Quilts for Kids, which in partnership with Downy is delivering them to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
