If you’re looking for a more low-key getaway, you can find it in one of Asheville’s resorts or day spas. The city’s reputation as a destination for spa treatments dates back to the 1700s, when one of the East Coast’s only natural hot spring water sources was discovered. Today, visitors can experience a variety of treatments and wellness services, as well as yoga classes and retreats.
