CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carolina Panthers starting quarterback Cam Newton is on the cover of ESPN the Magazine again this week.
In the magazine's franchise issue, Newton is seen smiling with a towel over his head tucked into his shoulder pads with the headline, "Remember him?"
The article is focused on Newton reminding people that he is a franchise quarterback.
The Panthers are off to another slow start after dropping the first two close games of the season to Seattle and Buffalo.
In 2012, the team got off to a 1-6 start before winning its last four games of the season.
In 2011, the team started the season 1-5 before winning four of its final six games.
