FBI: Missing girl could be traveling through Carolinas

WASHINGTON D.C. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering thousands of dollars for information about missing 8-year-old Relisha Rudd. Officials believe Kahlil Tatum killed his wife and took Relisha in late February.

On Thursday, the police chief for the District of Columbia said his investigators cannot ignore the possibility Tatum killed the little girl, but they are doing everything possible to find her.

The search for Relisha spans from Washington, D.C., to Atlanta. Billboards have gone up along the East Coast with Tatum's and Relisha's picture.

The FBI released surveillance video of the two at a Washington, D.C., hotel last month. Relisha wore pink boots and a purple jacket. Tatum has a distinctive tattoo.

The FBI is offering up to $70,000 for information that leads to Tatum's arrest and conviction.
