German shepherd puppy, memorial collar given to Crisp family

MARION — According to a Facebook page dedicated to remembering fallen U.S. Forestry Officer Jason Crisp and his K-9, Maros, Crisp's family has been given a new puppy to honor him.

Angie Young of Camelot German Shepherds reached out to the Crisp family and arranged the donated puppy's adoption. She also contacted Deputy Harris with Survival Cord and arranged to have a memorial para-cord collar made.

The puppy and collar went home to the Crisp family on Sunday.

Survival Cord has also created an Officer Jason Crisp and K-9 Maros Memorial Bracelet, with proceeds benefiting the building fund. To order a bracelet, click here.
