CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Temperatures reached into the 90s Monday afternoon and that led to scattered storms to firing up in Charlotte.
The weather pattern will stay about the same for the first part of the week with possible warmer temperatures and rain chances decreasing.
By late week into the weekend, a front makes a run towards the area that could bring afternoon storms.
Temperatures are expected to be between 90-95 degrees every day through the weekend and heat index adds a couple of degrees to that number.
