CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Basketball fans in Charlotte can start sporting their new Hornets gear Saturday night.
The official Hornets merchandise will go on sale at the team store inside Time Warner Cable Arena before the game against the Miami Heat.
Season-ticket holders can shop from 3 to 6:30 p.m., and then the store will open to the public.

The team's logos and wordmark were introduced during an on-court halftime ceremony on Dec. 21.
The Hornets brand identity includes a modernized version of the original "Hugo" logo that will be used for the mascot and its brand.
The Hornets name and logo returns to Charlotte for the 2014-15 season.
