CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Expect plenty of sunshine Sunday along with comfortable temperatures in the 80s.
Meanwhile, a very powerful storm will be developing in the plains states.
This will likely create a major severe weather outbreak on Sunday in the Midwest.
Eventually that storm will move closer to the Charlotte area.
There will be a few storms ahead of that system on Monday but thunderstorms are expected Tuesday and Wednesday.
Severe weather may be a possible as well, but that depends on the storm system that is developing in the Midwest.
