LGA has extended the deadline for Goodstock to Friday, Oct. 5 at 5 p.m.

Goodstock is a 24-hour pro-bono marketing marathon event for local nonprofits.

LGA staffers will work 24 hours straight to benefit a small group of the county's needies nonprofits selected from those who apply online at lgaadv.com/goodstock.

The event is Thursday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. and runs until Friday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m.

"Since our first Goodstock event in 2009, it has been truly rewarding to see how 20 local nonprofits have improved marketing what they do to potential donors, volunteers and the people who need their services most," said Judi Wax, LGA executive vice president / director of public relations, who oversees the event. "It is one of the most unforgettable experiences of the year for our agency and the nonprofits we serve in Mecklenburg County."
