Arrest made in triple shooting that left one dead in southwest Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arrested a man Monday in connection with a triple shooting that left one person dead.

Detectives said he was arrested for an unrelated warrant. Driver was taken to police headquarters where homicide detectives served him with warrants related to the shooting.

Officers were called on Feb. 24 to Yorkdale Drive, where they found two victims with gunshot wounds. A third victim ran from the scene and was later found on Spring Creek Lane.

Police have not released a motive in the shooting.
