CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte firefighters rescued someone from a burning home Saturday night in northwest Charlotte.
The occupant was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, MEDIC said.
Firefighters got the fire under control in 25 minutes at the home on Darbyshire Place near West W.T. Harris Boulevard.
The call came into dispatch at 8:11 p.m. and Engine 28 was on the scene at 8:18 p.m., the Charlotte Fire Department tweeted.
No firefighters were injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
