Troopers spoke to witnesses who said the driver looked like he was going to get off the exit but went straight into the V of the exit lane.

There were no signs of braking or skid marks before the driver hit the abutment for the train bridge and the car burst into flames, according to troopers.

They said the driver died on impact. His name has not been released.

Investigators are still trying to determine if the cause of the crash was medical or intentional.
