CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Paramedics responded Friday to a shooting near Harding University High School in west Charlotte.
Police said 2 people were shot Bullard Street. Medic treated one person with a gunshot wound on Bullard Street. The second shooting victim ended up running off but was later found nearby on Whitehall Street. Both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Carolinas Medical Center.

Channel 9 has contacted police to find out where the shooting happened, what led up to it and if they have anyone in custody.
Harding University High School dismissed classes at 2:15 p.m. Charlotte-Mecklenburg School police said no students were hurt in the shooting.
