HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — An employee at the Phoenix Montessori Academy on Mount Holly-Huntersville Road was taken to the hospital as a precaution Wednesday night after crews responded to a carbon monoxide alarm.
Firefighters ventilated the building after they found high readings of the dangerous gas, Huntersville Fire Department officials said.
