ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — The Rowan County Sheriff's office responded to Rockwood Drive Tuesday afternoon after a 1-year-old was reported missing.
The child was located at a neighbor's house in a fountain.
Emergency responders tried to resuscitate the child through CPR but were unsuccessful.
Investigators will release more information after they get a report from the Medical Examiner's office.
