$10K winning lottery ticket sold in Lake Wylie to expire

LAKE WYLIE, S.C. — Lottery officials are hoping the owner of a winning ticket will come forward before it expires. A $10,000 lottery ticket sold in Lake Wylie is about to expire.

One week remains to claim the Powerball ticket sold at QuikTrip 1057 at 4020 Charlotte Highway this past February.

The ticket must be claimed no later than August 18.

The ticket matched four white ball numbers and the red Powerball number: 1 - 17 - 35 - 49 - 54 Powerball: 34

The winning ticket must be claimed at the Columbia Claims Center and if the prize is not claimed, the $10,000 winnings will be deposited in the Education Lottery Account to support educational programs in South Carolina.

Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
