13 York County restaurants/bars cited for serving to underage customers

York County enforcement officers busted 13 restaurants that served alcohol to underage customers.

More than 100 restaurants and bars were targeted during an undercover operation Thursday night.

Among the restaurants cited were Mellow Mushroom and Hilton Garden Inn.

The York County alcohol enforcement team, made up of eight law enforcement agencies, worked with SLED to conduct underage compliance checks at restaurants and bars throughout York County from 6 to 11 pm.

The officers sent underage people into 104 restaurants and bars, and 15 were issues citations.

Lt. Mike Ligon coordinated the operation.
