Since Hunter was attacked on Oak Island while on vacation from Colorado, he has been befriended by avid shark enthusiast, Paul de Gelder, an Australian who lost two limbs in a shark attack during a military exercise.
A role model and mentor for Hunter, Paul invited Hunter to dive with sharks on purpose in order to face his fear.
Their dive is included in Discovery Channel's Shark Week documentary "Sharks Among Us."
