Fifteen people were displaced, and the fire caused $50,000 in damage, officials said.

Investigators believe the fire started due to improperly discarded smoking materials.

A dog at the scene bit a firefighter, causing a minor injury, officials said.

A second firefighter also had minor injuries, but officials would not elaborate on how that happened.
