2 arrested in connection with Clover homicide, deputies say

CLOVER, S.C. - York County deputies arrested two men overnight in the Clover’s first homicide of the year.

Just after midnight, deputies took Kevin Eades into custody after locating him in Spartanburg County.

Investigators told Channel 9 Eades shot Travis Koin, 22, Monday morning.

Later, deputies took Joseph Matthew Polk, 21, into custody for accessory after the fact.

The shooting took place at a home on Wiggins Road, investigators said.

Police have not released any motive in the shooting.
