2 taken to hospital after wreck involving CMPD cruiser

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A CMPD patrol vehicle was traveling, without emergency lights and sirens, in the 3200 block of Beatties Ford Road when it collided with another vehicle Friday night.

Both drivers were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No further information has been released.
