SOUTH CAROLINA - A 2-year-old South Carolina boy died after shooting himself at a home.
Investigators said the boy was in a home near Conway Christmas night when he grabbed the gun off a table and pulled the trigger.
Police charged 30-year-old Rondell Smith with involuntary manslaughter.
They said he brought the gun into the home.
Family members said he bought the gun after someone tried to break into the family's home two weeks ago.
Smith has the same last name as the victim, but it has not yet known how or if they are related.
