Updated:UNION COUNTY, N.C. —
There are more than 250 additional seats open for pre-
kindergarten students in Union County.
The program administered by Alliance for Children was designed to prepare at risk toddlers in North Carolina for success in school.
Expansion of the program was ordered by governor Beverly Perdue.
The expansion has created an additional 134 positions compared to last year.
