MONROE, N.C. - Three men were arrested Tuesday after a home invasion Sunday in Monroe, police said.
Police said three black men entered a home on Venus Street, stealing money and a .38 revolver. They were armed. The victim said she was tied up in the kitchen.
Willie Lamar Rushing, 26, Princeton Patterson, 27, and Randall Andrew Miller, 21, were charged with first-degree burglary, robbery with a dangerous weapon, larceny of a firearm and four counts of kidnapping.
“Our officers, along with help from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, conducted a very thorough investigation which led not only to the identification of the suspects, but also the apprehension,” said Police Chief Bryan Gilliard.
