3 CMS employees fired after Whistleblower 9 investigation

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools employees who were suspended after a Whistleblower 9 investigation have been fired.

Eyewitness News aired video of CMS bus driver Diesha Clay appearing to nod off while driving in December and parents said their complaints to the transportation department went unanswered.

Clay, the director of transportation operations Brad Johnson and employee Eric Jaeger were all suspended after the video was aired.

A CMS spokesperson now says they were all fired last week.

The school district still won't confirm the reason for their termination.
