4 teens questioned about shooting up cars in Fort Mill

FORT MILL, S.C. — York County Sheriff's detectives have identified four teenage suspects that are believed to be involved in the shooting of three vehicles along the Hensley Road area of Fort Mill last week.

The shootings happened on January 4. Three separate drivers told deputies that their cars were shot at with a pellet rifle.

Detectives think the four teenagers involved were using two air powered pellet rifles and one air-soft BB gun, targeting cars only to vandalize them. Police do not think the teens were targeting individual people.

The teens are being questioned about the shootings by detectives and formal charges are pending.
