Updated:CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
On Saturday night police charged 21 people with drunk driving in south Charlotte.
Officers set up a checkpoint on Runnymede Lane near Michael Baker Place.
Overall 21 people were charged with drunk driving, eight were charged with driving without a license and 14 people were ticketed for traffic violations.
A total of 48 drivers were charged.
