CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Race fans, runners and families crowded outside the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Sunday morning to support one NASCAR driver's charity.

The Kasey Kahne Foundation raises money for chronically ill children and their families.

Despite a late night at Charlotte Motor Speedway Saturday night, Kahne as well as numerous other individuals participated in the event.

The money raised on Sunday benefits the Ronald McDonald Foundation and fund's children's trips to the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
