WATAUGA COUNTY, N.C. — A 6-year-old boy was airlifted Monday morning to a hospital after he was run over in his driveway in Watauga County.
The highway patrol is investigating the accident on Lucky Lane in the Zionville community.
The child's father was moving a landscaping truck at their home, when he accidentally hit the 6-year-old who was riding a bicycle, troopers said.
The child was taken to Johnson City Memorial Hospital in Tennessee.
